Two clubs sign Mbombela Stadium agreements as TS Galaxy delays | Mpumalanga News

The Mpumalanga Rugby Union (Pumas) and Kruger United FC have signed three-year agreements to use Mbombela Stadium today, July 16.

TS Galaxy delays signing

Although three clubs were initially scheduled to sign, TS Galaxy did not sign the contract during the ceremony. Team representatives attended the event.

The Rockets withheld their signature due to undisclosed logistical issues, which they are meeting with municipal officials to resolve.

According to reports, TS Galaxy has signed a three-year deal with the Thembisile Hani Local Municipality to use the Solomon Mahlangu Stadium for five home games per season, although the club will still use Mbombela Stadium for other home games.

Teams look to the future

Municipal manager Wiseman Khumalo said the municipality will resolve the issues raised and proceed with the signing. This is the first time Kruger United has signed the agreement.

Kruger United chairman Bongani Wati said he appreciated the opportunity, adding that the club plans to ensure it remains in the Premier Soccer League to continue with the contract.
