Sailun Group is evaluating South Africa’s Coega Special Economic Zone (SEZ) as a location for what could become its second tyre factory in Africa. According to news published by South Africa’s Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality, executive mayor Babalwa Lobishe took part in “strategic engagements” with Sailun and Coega Development Corporation regarding a proposed tyre manufacturing and recycling facility within the Coega SEZ.
