The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned of severe thunderstorms with hail, strong winds and heavy rain in parts of the Western Cape and Northern Cape, while cold and isolated showers are expected in other provinces, except for Gauteng and North West, where cloudy and cool conditions are forecast.
