Standerton Primary School congratulated its U9 rugby team and coach Siyabonga Masina on their impressive performance in the Mpumalanga Small Schools Rugby quarter-finals.

The team defeated Laerskool Sabie 24-10 at Nelspruit Primary School on June 2 to secure their place in the semi-finals.

Following the victory, the young players will now turn their attention to the next stage of the competition, which will take place at Middelburg Hoërskool from June 12 to 13.
