Eight people have lost their lives in a crash between a minibus taxi and a truck on the N4 near Waterval Onder in Mpumalanga.
The crash occurred on Tuesday morning on the N4 Toll Road between Ngodwana and Waterval Onder.
Mpumalanga Community Safety spokesperson Moeti Mmusi says the cause of the accident has not yet been determined.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, and further information will be released once it becomes available.
The N4 has become a growing concern due to a series of fatal crashes and criminal spiking incidents.
Earlier this year, in April, three pedestrians were killed after being struck on the N4 toll route between Machadodorp and Belfast.
