Residents in the Western Cape are urged to remain cautious as wet and windy weather conditions are expected to continue on Saturday and into Sunday.
A strong cold front is due to make landfall on Sunday with another front following close after.
Provincial traffic officials are calling for motorists to exercise patience when driving and if possible, avoid travelling when roads are hazardous.

Provincial traffic’s Maxine Bezuidenhout said traffic personnel will be closely monitoring all key routes for a speedy response to any incidents.
“Pedestrians should ensure visibility by wearing bright or reflective clothing where possible, use designated crossings, and remain cautious near busy roads during heavy rain.”
