Mpumalanga runners shine at 2026 ASA Marathon Championships | Mpumalanga News

Several local runners participated in the 2026 ASA 42km Marathon Championship on Sunday, May 3 with a few bringing home medals from Durban.
Nomvula Sithole was the second South African woman to finish and scooped sixth place overall.

Roxanne Oosthuizen took first place in 35+ woman age group in both the Durban Marathon and ASA championships.

Lovers Hlatshwayo won a bronze medal in the 40+ age group for the open race and silver in the ASA Championship.

Athletics Mpumalanga won a silver medal for the men’s 40+ team which consisted of Lovers Hlatshwayo, Jetro Sithole and Lucas Jani.
