WEATHER: Morning showers for Cape Town on Thursday, hot sunshine for Gauteng

Cape Town will reach 27°C on Thursday, with a couple of showers in the morning before turning partly sunny, according to AccuWeather.

Rainfall is expected at around 4.3 mm, with a high 84% chance of precipitation and a 17% chance of thunderstorms. Winds will be moderate from the SSE at 15 km/h, with gusts up to 30 km/h.

By evening, temperatures drop to 18°C, with a passing shower possible and mostly cloudy skies. The chance of rain sits at 55%.

Johannesburg will see plenty of sunshine and a high of 28°C.

Conditions will be dry, with light ENE winds at 11 km/h and gusts reaching 33 km/h.

At night, it cools to 13°C under clear skies.

Pretoria will be the hottest of the three, climbing to 30°C.

It’ll be sunny, and rain is not expected. Winds will be light from the ENE at 11 km/h, with gusts up to 28 km/h.

Evening conditions remain clear and mild, with temperatures dropping to 13°C.
