Roodepark School hosted the LSEN Schools Gauteng Championships on March 10–11, and achieved great success on the athletics field.

According to the school’s public relations officer, Nicole de Barros, the honour of playing host to this prestigious tournament was completely overshadowed by no fewer than 20 Roodepark Athletes being chosen to represent the Gauteng LSEN team at the national championships, set to be held at Rustenburg in April.

“We are so proud of our athletes,” Nicole says.
“Their hard work and meticulous preparation during the season paid off, and they now get to compete on the national stage.
“We wish them all the best where they will be representing the province at the nationals.”
