Cape Town motorists have voiced frustration over looming fuel price hikes.
From Wednesday, drivers will pay significantly more at the pumps.
Petrol is expected to increase by R5 per litre, while diesel could rise by more than R9 a litre.
Isolated incidents of petrol stations running low on fuel or completely depleting their supply have been reported in the Western Cape.
Government said that it is exploring ways to cushion the impact of these hikes on South Africans.
However, some motorists remain unconvinced that enough is being done.
Meanwhile, the Western Cape government has assured residents that there’ll be sufficient fuel supply for April and May, dismissing concerns about potential shortages.
