Bothasig Baseball Club will be strongly represented at the South African Baseball Union’s National Championship in Boksburg, with over 50 players selected for the Western Cape squad.
Making up roughly a quarter of the 200-player group, the club’s contribution highlights its strength in developing talent and consistency at a high level. It’s a notable achievement for a single club and reflects years of work at grassroots level.
With a proud history of over 50 years, Bothasig continues to play a key role in shaping provincial and national baseball, and its players will be looking to make an impact on the big stage.The national championship takes place from Friday March 27 with the finals taking place on Wednesday March 1.
