Guests enjoyed Mahlasela’s classic hits, as well as performances by local artists before he took to the stage.

In an interview with Mpumalanga News, Mahlasela recalled his first visit to the Sudwala Caves during a school trip.

“It feels like I am coming to rejuvenate myself. It feels good, and I am happy,” he said.
