A Free State hairdresser who preyed on young boys has been sentenced to four life sentences.
The Wesselsbron Regional Court found him guilty of raping four boys aged between 12 and 15 in his hut, which also serves as a salon in Malebogo Township, near Hertzogville.
The assaults took place in May last year and came to light when a victim told a teacher.
Police spokesperson Mahlomola Kareli says the verdict sends a strong message that those who harm children will face the full force of the law.
