JOHANNESBURG – South Africans can expect warm to cool weather conditions throughout the day, but have been urged to brace for potentially dangerous weather conditions.
The Weather Service has issued yellow level 2 and 4 warnings across the central and eastern parts of the country.
Gauteng is firmly in the storm zone, with widespread scattered thundershowers expected.
Officials warn it could bring heavy downpours, damaging winds, Â and excessive lightning, posing a risk for localised flooding.
Motorists are warned to avoid flooded roads, with emergency services on high alert.
