The South African Weather Services has issued a warning about this heavy rain and thunderstorms in parts of the country this week.
This comes after a rainy weekend across the country.
Forecaster Tokelo Chiloane says a cold front will bring more rain later this week.
“The South African Weather Service has issued a notice a level four yellow warning for severe thunderstorms over western parts of the Northwest Provinceas well as a level two yellow warning for severe thunderstorms over the central parts of the northwest, the northeastern parts of the Northern Cape and the northern parts of the Free State for Monday.”
Chiloane added: “No significant rainfall is expected across the country from Wednesday. However, there will be a gradual increase in temperatures, especially in the central and eastern provinces.”
