A doctor in free state has announced on the camera that he has helped a farm, reportedly killed by his grandson, in a shallow grave on his farm.
The doctor, from Kroonstad, unveiled this in a video that was recorded by Eff -members when they confronted him about the issue on Monday, forcing him to close his operation.
According to the doctor, his grandson was hunting on the farm when he saw six men with knives who reportedly steal cables. The grandson claimed that the men started attacking him.
“Yes, I know I did something wrong, I should have called the police, but if I didn’t bury him immediately, the jackals would have eaten him.”
When asked how he would feel if it had been his grandson who was killed and buried in the superficial grave, his answer was: “I wouldn’t feel very nice because he could have been him. Why did they attack him [grandson]? “
Eff Provincial deputy chairman, Thomas Macingwane, said that what the older man said about his grandson who was attacked was not true.
He said that the information they received from an eyewitness was that the agricultural worker, a Lesotho National, had gone with other employees to confront the doctor’s grandson on 10 July because they had not yet received their salaries. After the confrontation, the deceased and other three employees left, but he was not seen the next day.
