LS Trichardt archers aim for top spots at the Mpumalanga Archery Championships | Ridge Times

Laerskool Trichardt congratulates its archers on their outstanding performance at the Mpumalanga Archery Championships held on August 2 at Hoërskool Patriot in Witbank.

The archers achieved the following results:
Reinhardt Reynders secured second place in the primary school boys’ bullseye category and second place overall. In the 3D primary school girls category, Tahlia Reynders took second place.

Reinhardt Reynders also came second in the primary school boys’ 3D category and second place overall. Additionally, Reinhardt received the trophies for Best Primary School Boy Archer and Best Primary School Archer in Mpumalanga.

Sean Posthumus-Meyjes finished third in the primary school boys’ 3D category and third overall. Laerskool Trichardt was awarded Best Overall Primary School in Mpumalanga and won the trophies for Best Team and Sportsmanship.

The following archers earned places on the provincial team and will compete at the Nationals in Polokwane this October:

Reinhardt Reynders (Mpumalanga team captain), Sean Posthumus-Meyjes, Brennan Austin, Merike De Klerk, Tahlia Reynders, and educator Elzann Taljaard.
