Johannesburg – ‘I want them to erase my name’
This is the plea for the police by Justice Moshoeshoe van Wenner in Free State whose life was turned upside down after he was wrongly arrested and linked to the kidnapping of the 19-year-old Kamogelo Baukudi.

Five people were arrested on Friday when Baukudi was recovered, were released, one of them is Moshoeshoe.
He says he helped Baukudi when he appeared on Friday outside his house in Wepener in the Southern Free State.
But Moshoeshoe and his friends were behind bars.
He insisted that he helped Baukudi when he appeared on Friday in the Southern Free State outside his house in Wennen.
Moshoeshoe says that this arrest has affected its name within the community.
“Community does not trust me and I have a hair salon company. Nobody here will ever trust me again with their children to do their hair,” he said.
The police say that investigations into the kidnapping of Baukudi are still underway and that more arrests can follow.
They are still looking for the abductors and confirm that the five released suspects are not linked to the issue.
