Cloudy and cold to cool conditions, with isolated showers and thunderstorms over the many parts of the country on Wednesday, according to the SA -Weather service.

From Thursday it must be partially cloudy and cold to cool, with insulated showers and thunderstorms over the central and eastern parts of the country.

Warnings of the SA -Weerservice for Wednesday:

A. Level 2 Warning for Discruding rainfall Resulting in localized floods of sensitive formal/informal settlements or roads, low-lying areas and/or bridges, smooth roads that lead to small vehicle accidents and difficulty in driving conditions on unpaved roads along the north coast of Kwazulu-Natal.

Regional predictions of the SA -weather service for Wednesday:

1. Gauteng
Morning mist places in the south and central, otherwise partially cloudy and cold but cool in the north.

2. Mpumalanga
Morning mist plasters along the slope, otherwise partially cloudy and cold, but cool in places in the east with isolated showers, except in the far west.

3. Limpopo
Morning misses plasters along the slope, otherwise partially cloudy and cool with isolated showers in the east where it will be cool.

4. Northwestern province
Partially cloudy and cool, with isolated showers and thunderstorms over the western parts.

5. Free state
Cloudy with morning mist plasters over the eastern parts in the beginning, otherwise partially cloudy and cold to cool, with isolated showers and thunderstorms except the northern parts.

6. Northern Cape
Cloudy with morning mist along the northern parts of the coast, otherwise partially cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thunderstorms in the east and centrally in the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southeast.

7. Western Cape
Partly cloudy with morning mist or fog plasters over the northern and southwestern parts, otherwise good and cool for too hot. Insulated showers and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon over the extreme northeastern parts. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southern to southeast, but light to moderate the south coast in the morning.

8. Western half of the Eastern Cape
Morning Fog in places above the interior, otherwise good and cool, partly cloudy with isolated afternoon thinners in the north. The wind along the coast will be northeastern light and will become southwest by noon.

9. Eastern half of the Eastern Cape
Morning Fog in places above the interior, otherwise good and cool, partly cloudy with isolated afternoon thinners in the north. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northeast.

10. Kwazulu-Natal
Morning mist in places over the interior, otherwise partially cloudy and cool but cold but cold in places in the west. Insulated showers and rain are expected, but spread along the north coast. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southern to southwestern but northeast in the extreme south and spread to Richards Bay against the late afternoon.
