Search efforts continue as cold front hits Eastern Cape

MTHATHA – Search operations will resume in the Eastern Cape as a cold front hits.

Two children are still missing after floods in Mthatha.

So far, 101 bodies have been recovered, 38 of them children.

94 of the 101 bodies recovered have been identified and handed over to families.

Displaced families are being sheltered in community halls and schools in the affected parts.

The cold snap is expected to bring strong winds and freezing temperatures across the province.
