A police officer is expected to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court in the free state for a bail request in connection with Kamogelo Baukudis kidnapping suitcase.
Philemon Adoon is confronted with charges of extortion and kidnapping.
Two men who posed as police officers kidnapped 19-year-old Baukudi, who is degree 11 student of a Bloemfontein School for children with special needs last Thursday.
On the day of his disappearance, his driver took the student out of school.
On the way home, two men with a cup of blue lights held up and told them that their car was suspected of supplying drugs, them.
They were then separated, with Baukudi stepping into the car driven by the men.
Along the way, a truck reportedly went between the car of his driver and the car driven by the men and then disappeared.
The search for Baukudi continues.
The police say that more arrests will be made.
