The National Ministry of Tourism has transferred the KGODUMODUMO Dinosaur Interpretation Center to Sanparks. Tourism Minister Patricia De Lille has described the KGODUMODUMO Dinosaur Interpretation Center in the free state as a potential economic hub.

Accordingly, this center will diversify the tourist range of South Africa.

The department and the South African national parks launched the center in the Golden Gate Highlands Park in Clarens. Through the Multimillion-Rand initiative, the discovery of the fossils of dinosaurs that inhabited in the eastern free state will help maintain culture and history millions of years ago.

The Kgodumodumo Dinosaur Interpretation Center, nestled in the heart of the Maluti -Berg chain in the eastern free state. The center is unique because it shows different dinosaurs from the Trias period, which are much older than those from the Jurassic period -a real validation of stories that are told by the Basotho people about the time of the Kgodumodumo.

Free State Tourism MEC Ketso Makume described the center as a pride of the Basotho Nation.

Tourism Minister Patricia De Lille Says that the center will help tourists to the province. She says that the free state is the least visited province in the country, hidden gems like these will ensure that it becomes a prominent tourist destination.

Spokesperson Johannes Louw van Zuid -African parks welcomed the national department that handed the center to Sanparks. Louw says they have taken steps to ensure that the center is accessible to all people.

The Basotho queen, Queen Neo Mopeli, says that the center can serve as part of the legacy of the Basotho People. Queen Mopeli adds that younger generations can learn more about the stories and the rich heritage of the Basotho Nation.

The center is free for all people until the end of September.
