MTHATHA – Another body has been found in Mthatha, following floods that devastated parts of the Eastern Cape.
As the water subsides, residents are picking up the pieces, and slowly rebuilding their lives. Many are also in mourning, as the death toll rises.
More than a thousand homes will have to be rebuilt following deadly floods in the province.Â
At least 90 people have died while homes were washed away, roads and bridges flooded. The majority of those killed were living in settlements below flood lines.
eNCA senior reporter Aviwe Mtila was on the scene shortly after the discovery.
