Hitmaker Zanele Mulambo
Zanele Mulambo, the rising Gospel of Parys in the free state, makes waves in the South African music scene and further with her latest single, “O Tshwanetswe”. The song has received a lot of attention and protected places on prominent radio stations such as Lesedi FM and the opening of doors for international invitations, including a remarkable one from Botswana.
A journey rooted in faith
Zanele’s spiritual journey started in 2008 when she embraced Christianity. In 2009 she moved to Sasolburg, where she became an active member of a local church. Zanele balances her role as a dedicated mother of two daughters and a passionate worshiper and is always driven by a calling to “download, cod and decode the heartbeat of God.”
From support singer to central stage
Zanele’s musical talents began to receive recognition in 2020 during her debut performance with all Sasolburg gospel artists. Her role as Alto Backing Vocalist saw her collaboration with valued artists such as Nzimeni Mazzwa, Prophet Shano’h, Bheki M, Akhona Ndzima and Morena Mphuthi. These collaborations laid the foundation for her fast -growing career in gospel music.
Breakthrough singles and awards
In 2023, Zanele recorded her first song, ‘Izimo Ziyamlallela’, and marked her official access to the recording industry. The following year she released ‘Ngubani’, a collaboration effort with praise of free state and worship explosion, which further strengthened its presence in the Gospel Music Community. Her songwriting bravery was recognized when she was awarded the best songwriter of the year in 2024.
“O Tshwanetswe”: a song that is beyond borders
“O Tshwanetswe,” is the newest single from Zanele, with widespread appliance. The inclusion of the number in the playlist of Lesedi FM and its rotation on other radio stations have strengthened its reach, leading to invitations to perform internationally, especially in Botswana. This track is an example of her ability to make contact with the public through genuine texts and soulful melodies.
Vision for the future
Zanele strives to promote her education through part -time studies while she continues to cherish her musical gift. She emphasizes the importance of maintaining its ministry with effective and impactful marketing strategies. Looks ahead, she strives to organize a live recording and initiate a “girls drive” that was aimed at inspiring and motivating young girls and mothers in the music industry and business sectors.
