Eastern Cape’s R72bn school infrastructure backlog will not clear until 2062 – education MEC

At the current annual allocation of R1.9 billion and without drastic intervention, the Eastern Cape will not clear its infrastructure backlog until 2062, according to Education MEC Fundile Gade.
