Deceased free state agents to receive official funerals

Johannesburg – The three free state police officers who died in the Hennops River are honored and offer official funerals.

Last Wednesday, Constables Cebekhulu Linda (24), Keamogets -purchase (30) and Bippelo Senoge (24) were missing after traveling Bloemfontein to their deployment area in Limpopo.

After an extensive search for the trio, their Bodies were found in the Hennops River In Centurion this week.

It is believed that the car in which they traveled, in the Hennops River, dived on the N1 Highway in Centurion.

The three officers will be laid in the free state next week.

Spokesperson Motantsi Makhele of the provincial police said: “The official funerals will take place on individual data between 8 and 10 May 2025 … and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday 6 May 2025 in Bloemfontein.

Makhele said that the death of the three officers hit the hearts of many South Africans.

“Their death hit the country deep, but their dedication and contribution will never be forgotten.”
