Severe thunderstorms and heavy rains in parts of SA

JOHANNESBURG – The South African Weather Service has issued a weather warning for severe thunderstorms, heavy downpours resulting in localised floods and damaging winds, hail and excessive lightning.

Affected provinces include Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga and the eastern half of the Eastern Cape.
