Multi-vehicle accident in Kranspoort Pass leaves multiple injured, chemical spilled | Middelburg Observer

A multi-vehicle collision involving a truck and other vehicles has been reported moments ago in Kranspoort Pass (N11 Middelburg/Groblersdal), direction Groblersdal.

According to first responders on the Traffic Alert WhatsApp group, between six to eight people have been injured and HazMat has been dispatched to attend to a chemical spill.

It is reported that the truck lost its load, resulting in the other vehicles crashing into it.

It has been confirmed that both directions of the road is closed and motorists are advised to make use of alternative routes.
