A 27-year-old alleged illegal foreign national was arrested in KwaGuqa during an Operation Vala Umgodi crackdown.
Police arrested the suspect on April 19 and also found three vehicles reported stolen from Gauteng.

According to the police, the vehicles were stolen from different areas: a charcoal Nissan Navara was reported stolen in March at Hartebeespoordam, a white VW Amarok was reported stolen in January in Boschkop, and a white Mercedes Benz was reported stolen in April at Vanderbylpark.

The police also confiscated what is believed to be dagga and crack cocaine.
Six car keys, cell phones, identity documents, license disks, and VIN number stickers were also discovered.
The suspect faces charges for possession of suspected stolen motor vehicles and contravention of the Immigration Act of South Africa and is expected to appear at the Emalahleni Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
Major General (Dr) Zeph Mkhwanazi, Acting Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, welcomed the arrest, “This development could resolve other outstanding cases where vehicles were reportedly stolen.”
