Eastern Cape govt takes steps to do away with apartheid-era decree of former Transkei

The Eastern Cape legislature is working hard to finalise Eastern Cape Environmental Management Act regulations, which will have the effect of repealing an environmental conservation decree which came into effect in the former Transkei in July 1992.
