Easter road safety | Five dead after head-on collision in Mpumalanga

JOHANNESBURG – Five people have lost their lives in a head-on collision on the N4 in Mpumalanga.

The crash between a sport utility vehicle and a bakkie occurred on the stretch between Machadodorp and Belfast.

Transport authorities are investigating the cause of the incident, but can’t rule out reckless driving.

Community Safety MEC Jackie Macie has reiterated the call to motorists to adhere to rules and stick to the speed limit.
