Counting of bodies recovered from Hennops River rises to five

Centurion – The number of restored bodies of the hennops river in Centurion has risen to five.

Initially, three bodies were found and were considered those of the officers who were missing last week on their way to Polokwane.

Constables Cebekhulu Linda, Keamogetswe buys and Boippelo Senoge disappeared while traveling to the north for their efforts.

Their vehicle, a Volkswagen polo was last seen near the Gasmere Toll Plaza, and since then their phones and tracking devices have been offline. Civil servants have confirmed that a debris of a Volkswagen was also found in the river.

Until now, three female bodies and two men have been found at different locations in the river. Searching and saving juice with other emergency services are on site as the activities continue.

The National Police Commissioner, Fannie Masemola, offered a reward for all information about the disappearance shortly after meeting their families on Sunday.
