The state of municipalities was discussed during a meeting between the ANC National Working Committee (NWC) and the provincial executive committee of the party.
Speaking at the sidelines of the meeting in Bloemfontein, says ANC National spokesperson Mahlengi Bhengu-Motsiri that the National Working Committee is completing its three-day visit to the province today.
“The stage of regional executive committees and the stage of Caucus at the municipality and how the ANC performs in the various municipalities. What are the challenges what is missing what should be strengthened. These are the reports that are currently being submitted that would then be followed by a report from the Provincial Executive Committee that gives us their own perspective about things I have explained, including the State of Directors in the Province Free State. That will then be followed by a very reflective discussion about all these reports and a recommendation and a way forward, “
