Family and friends of a 33-year-old patient who was killed by another patient at Philadephia Hospital outside Marble Hall in Limpopo have described him as a friendly person.

Klaas Ledwaba has been laid to rest in his home at Uitlvlugt, near Marble Hall.

Ledwaba was allegedly stabbed to death by another patient at the hospital’s psychiatric ward last week. His brother, Frans Ledwaba, says, Ledwaba was humble and loving.

“Klaas was a very kind person, he never fought with anyone. He loved every person close to him. Whenever he had money, he would call you and buy you a cold drink or whatever you wanted. He was really a nice person.”
