North West MEC jets off to Italy, skips Human Rights Commission scholar transport probe

Education MEC takes seven senior officials to attend the National Special Olympics in Italy, which cost the department more than R1 056 969, skipping an SAHRC probe into the dire state of scholar transport in the province.
