North West fails to to provide adequate scholar transport

MAHIKENG – The North West Government has conceded that they have failed to provide adequate scholar transport.

The Human Rights Commission has been holding an inquiry into the scholar transport system in the province.

Scholar transport in the North West has many problems which compromise a right to basic education.

WATCH: SAHRC probes systemic problems in NW scholar transport

The Human Rights Commission will compile a report on its findings.

The problem thereafter might be when the North West government has to act to implement those recommendations.
