Free statesman dies after the fight with brother about ‘wounded dog’

A man from the free state who reportedly hurt his brother’s dog was died after the two have reached a physical fight.

Police spokesperson without Mmako Mophiring said that a 29-year-old man from a farm near the director was arrested for accusation of murder.

The Harrismith police were called to a local hospital, where both men were taken after their violent argument, at 155 hours on Sunday. They lived on the same farm.

“The attack was the result of an argument that the deceased had wounded the dog’s dog,” said Mophiring, without specifying the breed.

One brother was stabbed with a sharp object, where an open wound on his head and left upper arm was maintained.

“The victim was consciously when he arrived in the hospital and was able to talk. However, he collapsed with his injuries as he was treated.”

His brother or sister was beaten with a stick and had a hand injury.

He is expected to appear in the court in Warden on Tuesday.
