The Free State Department of Health says that efforts are underway to trace the relatives of the victims of the crash and to inform them that took place on the N6 between Redersburg and Smithfield in the free state.

The crash between a truck and a bus Claimed 10 lives on Wednesday. Twenty -seven people were injured.

Department spokesperson, Mondli Mvambi, says Two of the five victims who were admitted to the Pelonomi Hospital in Bloemfontein were fired, while 18 of the 22 people have been transported to the Stoffel Coetzee Hospital are also fired.

Mvambi says that the identification process of the deceased will start soon. He says that they are planning to carry out all post-mortems with regard to the crash on Friday in the Mortuary of the Government of Welcome.
