The African National Congress (ANC) has re -confirmed its confidence in the Provincial Executive Committee of the Free State (PEC). The National Work Committee of the Party (NWC) closed his three -day visit to the province.
The ANC-Secretary General, Fikile Mbalula, addressing the media in Bloemfontein, emphasizes that the free state, in contrast to Gauteng and Kwazulu-Natal, has succeeded in retaining its small majority after the general elections of 2024, despite the fact that a considerable knock national.
Mbalula says that the PEC has received a mandate to unite the party.
“The recent engines of the National Working Committee with ANC structures in the province confirm the obligations of the movements to tackle these concerns, directly and rebuild trust with communities.”
“We also confirm our confidence in the leadership of the ANC in the province, led by Mxolisi Dukwana as chairman and Polediso Motsoeneng as provincial secretary. The ANC acknowledges the serious challenges for services that many communities are confronted in free state, “he adds.
