Winners from KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga share R10.6 million Lotto jackpot

ITHUBA, operators of the National Lottery in South Africa, have confirmed a double win in LOTTO draw number 2515, which took place on Wednesday, 12 February 2025.

The two winners will share a total of R10 620 941, with each winner taking home R5 310 470.50.

The winning tickets were bought at Shoprite Checkers in KwaZulu-Natal, and a Pick n Pay store in
Mpumalanga, with a R5 and a R10 wager, respectively.

Both winners selected their numbers manually.

“We are pleased to have not one, but two winners who dared to dream big with modest wagers, and
emerged victorious! Congratulations to them both,” said Charmaine Mabuza, CEO of ITHUBA.

“We urge all players to check their tickets as soon as possible and come forward to claim their prizes,” she
added.

As reported by The South African website, the six winning Lotto numbers drawn were (in numerical order): 3, 9, 23, 41, 42, 48 and the bonus ball was 39.

All winners have 365 days from the draw date to claim their prize.

All winnings are tax-free and will be paid out within 72 hours of a valid claim.
