MAHIKENG – Sanco is threatening to shut down North West municipalities not delivering services.
In April last year, the civic organisation marched to the Premier’s office in Mahikeng.
But it says little has been done since then.
In fact, more areas have now taken their concerns to the provincial government.
Residents are frustrated with water and electricity cuts, dilapidated roads, and blocked sewage systems.
In further efforts to address service delivery, the Save Mahikeng Movement is now in the process of collecting signatures for a petition addressed at the Premier’s office and calling for his intervention.
