The welcome Magistrate’s Court on Thursday found the 38-year-old Tshediso Mbele, who last year poured out a bucket of feces in a health worker in Thabong Clinic, guilty of abuse.
His conviction is planned for March 20, said Free State Health spokesperson Mondli Mvambi on Friday.
“The incident took place after the patient had visited the clinic in the early hours of July 25, 2024 and expressed dissatisfaction with the speed of the service.
“After his voluntary departure, he returned the next day with a bucket of faeces, which he donated about the unsuspecting health worker, created chaos and disrupts health services in the reception, so that the clinic was closed prematurely,” said Mvambi.
After the attack, Mbele about the incident on social media. A case was opened with the police and the investigation turned out that Mbele was a parolee.
