Hoedspruit R40 crash: One of three survivors dies | Review

LIMPOPO – One of the three survivors who were taken to Tintswalo Hospital after the R40 accident in Hoedspruit has passed away.

This was confirmed on Tuesday, February 11, during a visit for DNA testing of the deceased victims by the MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Violet Mathye, along with Health MEC Dieketseng Mashego, Maruleng Local Municipality Mayor Tsheko Musolwa, and representatives from the Mpumalanga government.

The accident occurred on Saturday, February 8, when a taxi and bakkie collided, causing both vehicles to catch fire with passengers still inside.

The Pretoria Victim Identification Centre is conducting DNA tests, and no official identifications have been released yet.
