“Further research led to the arrest of the 30-year-old girlfriend who was found at the house and the discovery of a possible murder weapon,” said Sergeant Mahlomola Kareli, police spokesperson.

Woman arrested in Bultfontein

A few hours later, the police attended a domestic dispute in Bultfontein, which also had a tragic outcome.

A 30-year-old woman was arrested on December 26 around 2 a.m. because she would have stabbed her boyfriend.

“On arrival, the police found an African man lying in a puddle of blood. The 28-year-old victim was declared dead on the spot, “confirmed Kareli.

Both women must appear in court on December 27.

Women are disproportionate victim
