Two men, of whom one is a Nigerian national, are scheduled to appear in the Sabie and Graskop Magistrate’s Courts on Monday, January 6.
The police arrested the 24-year-old Nigerian during an Operation Vala Umgodi sting when he was found in possession of drugs on Friday, January 3.
The SAPS was patrolling the Sabie area when they spotted a suspicious man carrying a bag.
“They stopped and searched him and found suspected drugs inside the bag, which included Cat, heroine and crystal meth. The drugs and an undisclosed amount of cash were confiscated, and the man was arrested and charged,” said a provincial police spokesperson, Brigadier Donald Mdhluli.

The 24-year-old is set to appear in the Sabie Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
Meanwhile, a 52-year-old suspect was arrested in Graskop on Thursday, January 2, after police found illicit cigarettes worth R26 000 in his spaza shop.
The police confiscated the cigarettes for further investigations.
The man is expected to appear in the Graskop Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
