Nurse denied bail after initiate beaten with stick, fists during Eastern Cape summer initiation

A traditional nurse arrested and accused of beating an initiate so severely that he could not walk or stand on his own was denied bail in the Tsomo Magistrate’s Court on Thursday afternoon.
