A 34-year-old Limpopo man and his 24-year-old accomplice have been arrested for the murder of his 29-year old wife.
Police say the man handed himself over to police on Friday.
His wife’s body was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the bushes around Kromdraai in the Free State three days earlier.
Police Spokesperson, Malesela Ledwaba says the accomplice was arrested a day after the murder at his home in Tshamutumbu outside Musina on a charge of possession of two unlicensed firearms.
He says, “The couple, originally from Mutale in the Vhembe District, had been reported missing at Moroka SAPS in Gauteng. On 22 January , the body of the 29-year-old woman was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds in the bushes along the N1 in Kromdraai, Free State.”
