DA says real 2024 matric pass rate is 53.6%, despite DA Minister Gwarube announcing it as 87.3%

While DA member and Basic Education Minister Siviwe Gwarube proudly announced the 2024 matric pass rate of 87.3% was the highest in the country’s history, her party said the real pass rate was 53.6%.
