Aid for Stilfontein illegal miners' survival – not prolonged activity, says union

Humanitarian aid supplied to illegal miners at Stilfontein mine in the North West is not intended to sustain prolonged underground activity, but to ensure the miners’ survival during rescue operations, according to the General Industries Workers Union of SA (Giwusa).
