Mark Lifman was reportedly shot dead in a parking lot at the Garden Route Mall in George earlier today, 3 November 2024, Cape {town} Etc reports.

Photos circulating on social media show the crime scene, with Lifman’s body covered by an emergency blanket and the area sealed off by police.
According to the George Herald, the shooting took place around 11:30am, with suspects allegedly fleeing in a white Polo.
Lifman had been scheduled to appear in the Western Cape High Court on Monday, 4 November, for the Brian Wainstein murder trial, as reported by News24.
